SIX TOLL ATTENDANTS HONORED FOR OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE
Toll Attendants Recognized for exceptional efforts on Orange County’s Toll Roads

IRVINE, Calif. (Sept. 11, 2008) – A group of toll attendants were selected and honored today for their dedication and commitment to ensuring a safe and pleasant experience for cash-paying customers who use Orange County’s toll roads.

Toll attendants on the 73, 133, 241 and 261 Toll Roads process 12.6 million vehicles and collect more than $34 million each year.  This is the eighth year that toll attendants have been honored for providing excellent customer service by the Transportation Corridor Agencies (TCA), the public agencies responsible for Orange County’s 51-mile public toll road system.

The honorees are:

  • Bijan Momtaz of Mission Viejo
  • Jeanell Johnson of Santa Ana
  • Mahesh Shah of Anaheim
  • Miguel Robles of San Juan Capistrano
  • Fujiko Lemke of Mission Viejo

Honorees were selected based on their quality of customer service, revenue accuracy, attendance and positive working relations with peers and managers.

“I am pleased with the service our toll collectors bring to our customers on a daily basis and excited to show our appreciation today to all our toll collectors that serve our driving public,” said Steve Loughry, manager of cash operations. “Cash-paying customers appreciate the personal touch and friendly smiles these individuals bring to work every day.”

The toll attendants were selected by Central Parking Corp., which provides toll plaza staffing services, and were recognized at the September 11 meeting of the boards of directors for the Foothill/Eastern and San Joaquin Hills Transportation Corridor Agencies.
